Restaurants

St Gervais, St Nicolas and Le Bettex offer a selection of varied restaurants. It would be a waste if you did not visit at least one offering local "Savoie" cooking. Generally, we recommend the 3 course daily special at between only 15-25 euros per head.

The nearest is "Chalet Remy" on the anti clockwise road from le grattague to Le Bettex. Approx 15 minutes walk a quality hotel restaurant offering tasty decent food at reasonable prices.

In St Gervais there are 3 that we recommend: "4 epices" on the main road as you return into st gervais, "Troubadour" which is on the exit one way system in the centre of town and the one next door to it.

St Nicolas has a few but the one i have tried is about 1 km just before you enter the village next to the road on the left. Open for lunch and exceptional value.

In Megeve we recommend the one in the main square opposite the large pavement café with mainly indoor seating.

Visit my page of helpful french phrases, it maybe even worth printing the page and and taking it with you as you travel. It will assist with the enjoyment of your holiday. It may also save you money!!!!.. But it will be a great asset to you especially when choosing food.

Also, when in Rome.......  Be polite and be an ambassador. Leave your football shirt at home!!!!
