Studio/lounge

Colour tv and dvd. Selection of dvds. Games:cards, connect4, Draughts, chess, dominoes,poker dice etc, cd/radio/cassette with selection of music cds and cassettes, large selection of maps for walking/biking, ordnance survey maps of haute savoie, french dictionary/phrasebook, folder with local information. 2 tennis rackets. 3 sprung sun chairs for outside. 2 rubber backed doormats to lay wet ski boots on.

Kitchen area

Standard size fridge. Electric kettle, electric coffee maker, electric raclette/ pierade, 2 electric hobs, mini oven/grill but suitable for cooking a meal for 4, draining board rack, usual cutlery, wine/beer openers, most of the following was new in 2005: large selection of shard preparation knives, sieves, grater, scissors, whisks, wooden spoons/spatulas, non stick pans, oven proof serving dishes, all sizes of glasses, plastic picnic plates and beakers, "tupperware", egg cups, teapot, water jugs etc, mugs, cups/saucers, matching plates and dishes, trays, place mats, coasters, tea towel, scourers.

Bedding

3 new single duvets and 1 new king size duvet. Bolster pillows, ordinary pillows, enough blankets.

****n.b. duvet covers, bottom sheets, pillow cases and towels are not provided..... Please bring your own!!!

Heating

There is constant 24 hour under floor heating from the start of the ski season [mid december] to the end of the ski season [late april]. The temperature of the flat is 64-66 f.  You will need nothing more than a t shirt indoors. 

Electric heaters are in the lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Please remember to turn them off particularly when you are away from the flat to lessen the risk of fire.

The patio doors and bedroom exrenal door are all double glazed.

The flat has a fitted carpet [please remove shoes] with the exception of the bathroom and toilet for additional warmth.

Cleaning

An electric vaccuum cleaner, dustpan, broom,

Detergents/ oven cleaner/ bath cleaner are provided.
We charge you half rate rent on the basis that you take the time to leave the flat as clean and presentable as when you arrived. Our letting agent in st gervais will charge us £50 should the next incoming guests not find the cleanliness to their satisfaction!!!

Hot water

An electric immersion heater heats the hot water. The tank is in the toilet and is solely for the use of this flat. There is no immersion heater switch as the water is heated 24 hours per day. Be careful not to be greedy with the hot water if you are first in the shower!!

Drinking water 

Yes, you can drink the water without the need for prior boiling. No strange tastes either.

Security

The front door has a strong double lock. The external bedroom door is lockable and also has a lockable full sized timber shutter.  The lounge patio doors have electric roller shutters operated from the inside. There is no evidence anywhere on the development of any past theft.
